Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake have today announced a stadium tour for North America as part of a “Legends of Summer” tour kicking off in July and covering a dozen cities in two months. Special VIP tickets immediately went on sale via VIP Nation, with a broader pre-sale scheduled for Ticketmaster February 27th (code = LEGENDS). Alice Cooper Added To Caprices Festival Line-Up in Crans-Montana Switzerland
The Rock Subculture Journal will be covering Caprices Festival in Crans-Montana in the Swiss Alps of Switzerland in March. Just a few weeks away, I’ll be covering all nine nights of the annual music event, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Sadly, The Kills will no longer be part of the line-up due to an illness, but the organizers have added rock legend Alice Cooper to the bill. Phoenix Returns To North America for Coachella and Additional Dates to Support New Album Bankrupt!
French alternative rock band Phoenix will be returning to the United States for the first time in two years to make an appearances as one of the headlining artists at Coachella, as well as headline their own gigs outside of the annual Indio festival. Their fifth studio album, Bankrupt!, is due in the Spring as well through Glassnote Records. Following these dates, they will embark on a world tour headlining additional festivals in Europe.

Johnny Marr Announces Dates for Spring 2013 North America Tour Supporting “The Messenger” Album
Guitar and legend Johnny Marr, best known for his role with The Smiths, has announced a tour of the United States and Canada this Spring. As one of the performing guests at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Marr has added 18 dates outside of the popular multi-artist festival, including two with New Order. Johnny Marr’s new album, The Messenger, is due February 26th. Fleetwood Mac Announce European and UK Arena Dates for 2013 World Tour
As reported in recent months, with 2013 Fleetwood Mac is touring together with their first concert performances since 2009. The band today announced their first set of dates outside of North America, with concerts now scheduled for Europe and the UK in the Fall, beginning in September, following the 47 shows already on sale in the U.S. Additionally, last week Rhino Records released several different versions of Rumors, one of the all-time classic albums produced in all of rock and popular music.
